Winter 2008

A fantastic winter with the most snow since 2002. The Telemark Hill was operational and all cross country trails were in great shape from mid-December until mid April. The last ski this winter was April 21 and the Telemark Hill was skiiable on that day. The Wilderness Village will open again on Labour day with several planned Fall activities. Keep tuned to the Web site 'tikker tape' after Labour Day. Thank you to all who made this past winter a great success and we look forward eagerly to next winter.

Easter weekend 2007

A fantastic Easter weekend reminiscent of Easter 2001. A magnificent storm; a real dog team in the Village; great skiing and suberb Saturday night entertainent by Rosie MacKenzie. The first screening of the new Ski Tuonela Movie featuring Rosie on the soundtrack and also the film of our trip with Chris & Rosie on GROAIS II to the South Coast of NFLD last summer. Both these movies are available on DVD at the Village. The spring skiing is still suberb and all trails have 99% coverage.
